ITINERARY. Meeting point in Porta Romana, next to the bus stop. The guide walks along Corso Baccio, showing impressive alleys like Cunicchio and Porta Canale. We reach Piazza Matteotti, the main square of the old town, with the Town Hall, the Church of Santa Maria and the Church of Sant’Elpidio The Abbot. Here we can climb the wonderful Gerosolimitana Tower”built by the crusaiders (14th century). The tower is 28 metres high and preserves medieval symbols, like the Malta cross in the façade .
We can visit also the Vittore Crivelli Civic Gallery, placed in Corso Baccio. It hosts two important polyptyches by Vittore Crivelli. In the same building we can visit the Museum Of Shoes. In a sunny day, I suggest to take a walk along the ancient walls…
PRICING
80 EUR for group up to 5 people, 110 EUR for group up to 20 people.
The tour includes an English or Italian speaking guide, the visit of the churches, the visit of the old town.
Not included: tickets of the Gerosolimitana Tower and the Crivelli Gallery.
